ANTFEST 2025 is going Live and streaming both nights for anyone who can not make it out! We, Quaz Entertainment, are doing this out of our pockets so that no one has to miss the opportunity to see these amazing artists and talents. With this being said, we are asking for any donation you deem worthy for a much needed cause.
About a month ago my dog Bagel ended up collapsing and having a seizure in front of my eyes. I grabbed her, made sure she was okay, and rushed her to the ER animal hospital as fast as possible. After some expensive tests I was told that she may have Insulinoma. A rare pancreatic tumor that creates insulin at an alarming rate causing hypoglycemia.
During the past few weeks she has had numerous test and procedures to find out if in fact she does have this rare tumor. Well last week one test remained to determine for a fact if she did and, after many prayers and hopes that it wasn’t a tumor, it turned out to be what we dreaded. She came back positive for the Insulinoma.
We have been on a journey for this and have been trying do hard to give Bagel the life she wants. She still has fight in her eyes and she pushes herself to follow me around the house just to make sure I’m okay. She is not ready to leave and although I do not want to lose her, if she decides she doesn’t want to press forward anymore I will honor that. She is the most amazing dog/companion/friend a guy like me could ever ask for.
She has been there for me for 12 years and the doctors claim that this procedure can let her have at least two more years to continue to be the most wonderful pet I could have ever asked for. She came into my life at a time when I needed her most. I was lost, confused, and pretty much had given up on everything and everyone.
After doing some research online I came across a non-profit ranch that tries to save animals. I immediately fell in love with her and made the two hour journey with my brother and some friends. When we got there she rain up to me and was the most goofiest, fun loving, crazy puppy I had ever seen. I wasn’t sure about the adoption at first, I admit, but my brother looked at me and said “bro, look around. They are trying to help, but they are not funded. If she stays here she will die.”
And with that we headed back home with her in the back seat curled up in my arms. Per the adoption contract she had to get spaded so I made the appointment. She almost died on the operating table due to complications and she has a huge scar on her belly because of it, but she pulled through! They did tests and found out she had deadly parasitic worms throughout her stomach and intestines, but she pulled through! She had some growths on her ears and belly a couple years ago that were tested and ended up being benign, she pulled through!
She has ALWAYS pulled through and she will for this as well! I don’t doubt it for a minute! She is the most wonderful soul that has ever came into my life because she saved me when no one else could! She has always been there for me and made me love when I didn’t think I had any love to give. She has taught me patience and a self care for myself that I had lost. She always checks on me to make sure I’m not overworking or staying up late just by getting up from her sleeping spot (which is my bed) and walking up to me, looking at me with those “come on Dad, its bed time” eyes, and sighing as to say “you’ve been up too long.”
I still need that in my life. I still need her! And even though her blood sugar is love and she can barely walk around at times, she STILL gets up to check on me. She is the most caring and selfless soul this world has seen. So, I appreciate you hearing my story, but mostly Bagel the Beagle’s story! She still wants to live and continue to do so and I will make sure that happens!
The money for the procedures and test are extremely expensive and I have been using CareCredit to accomplish these payments. Eventually that will cease to work as it is getting towards the limit. Also the funds to pay that debt off is scarce, so this is where you all come in (if you can). Any donation helps and will strictly go towards Bagel’s fund and her road to a healthy continued life! I was able to invest what little money I had in savings to help put ANTFEST on, including merchandise, wristbands, keychains, and THIS Live Stream!
Anything and everything helps! So please, when you click that next button to go onto the donations page, donate something, anything, to help out a beautiful soul continue to have the life she is still fighting for! Thank you for your time and listening to our story!
